Ten Witches also highlighted the influence of social media and short form content platforms such as Tiktok (Tiktok), which shortens players’ attention, thus reducing the traditional coaching approach.

“Their attention range is very short, so you have to convey the message quickly. But football is a complex game and it’s a big challenge. You can’t explain how to play football in just one or two minutes.”
