    • A Nigerian pastor has sparked controversy online after he issued a stern prophetic warning to a church member, telling him not to marry his fiancée or face “life-changing” events within three months.
    • The video quickly went viral, sparking debate about the influence of religious leaders on personal relationship decisions.

A video that has gone viral shows a Nigerian pastor giving a stern and controversial warning to a male member of his congregation about his upcoming wedding.

The pastor, whose identity remains the subject of debate on social media, explicitly told his congregation that his choice of partner was not in line with “God’s will.”

During the prophetic meeting, the pastor addressed the groom-to-be directly, saying: “That woman is not your wife. If you feel she is, and marry her, you will witness life-changing events within three months.”

This prophecy was seen as a dire ultimatum rather than just a suggestion. The pastor emphasized that the “life-changing event” would not be a positive milestone but would be the result of something “beyond God’s plan.”

The warning sparked an uproar online, with netizens divided over the role of religious leaders in relationships:
