“You, Terry Alexander Ejeh, on January 5, 2025, under the jurisdiction of this honorary court, danced in social activities and committed Naira notes issued by the Nigerian Central Bank in the same territory and in your crimes, and acted in 21 (11) with the central bank in Nigeria and acted in 21 (1) attitude in 2007.”
The court then ordered the singer to be remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Center in an effort to hear his bail application.
Shonaiya, in her reaction to the news, condemned the syntax used to compile the statement in an article shared on X. He also mentioned that many Nigerians have moved due to such problems.
He wrote
“This really broke my heart. That’s what it means when you hear the saying “Nigeria is not a real place”. When you hear “Nigeria will never happen to you”, that’s why Nigerians escape the country every day.
“Neira notes issued by the central bank of Nigeria tampered with Naira’s notes while dancing during a social event.” As a lawyer, I was even ashamed of allegations using local and inflammatory language.
If there were ever nonsense laws in this country, that was it. #freeterryapala”
