Mother and daughter from Brazil undergo a gender transition and become father and son.
Raphael, 38, and Gustavo Batista, 10, from São Paulo, Brazil, were born with female biological characteristics, but are now considered male.
Raphael, 38, stopped identifying as a woman last year and was asked to be called a male. In September 2024, Raphael posted a clip on Instagram where he discussed gender identity.
The edited subtitles are subtitles, which are translated from Portuguese to: “If I have irritability in my body? The answer is yes.”
When asked if his child affected him, Raphael told G1: “It has no effect, but he [Gustavo] Give me the strength and courage to face it [the transition]. ”
Parents and children share their inspiring stories with nearly 25,000 Instagram followers, many supporting them on the go.
Father and son have previously said that people who use the “dead name” oppose people – when they are identified as women, their names are named.
“Even if we have the right to be respected by social names in practice, it actually happens rarely,” subtitles are written in English.
The student is a student, he also serves as an actor and plays trans and cisgender roles in the movie.
Gustavo received gender identity and sexual orientation from the Institute of Psychiatry at the interdisciplinary outpatient clinic and at the College of Pediatric Endocrinology at the Das Clinicas Children’s Institute in Sao Paulo.
