Sani Yusuf, a 50-year-old man, was reportedly beaten by his brother Abubakar Aminu in Zaria City, Kaduna State.
According to suspect Zagazola Makama, the suspect, 53, attacked Sani at his home in Rimintsiwa, Zariya City on April 4, 2025.
The victim was immediately taken to Abuth Shika for medical treatment, but unfortunately died at 4:50 am on April 10, 2025.
His condition worsened when the victim was cared for in the hospital and he succumbed to the injuries caused during the attack.
After that, the family buried the deceased according to local customs.
Police authorities are currently searching for suspect Abubakar Aminu, who fled the scene after the incident.
Efforts to arrest him are underway.
The case has been classified as a criminal murder and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the dispute and the motives of the suspect.
