Two teachers at a Georgia school are facing charges of S3xual misconduct involving the same alleged victim.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) announced the arrest of 60-year-old Sherri Delle Mauldin for improper sexual contact by an employee, broker or foster parent, aggravated child harassment and legal R@PE.
Maudin allegedly committed these crimes among teachers at Nathaniel Greene Academy, a Christian K-12 preparatory school in Siloam, about 80 miles east of Atlanta.
A GBI spokesman told people that just days after the arrest, another former teacher at Nathaniel Greene Academy was arrested and charged with incorrect S3xual contacts, allegedly involving the same student’s actions.
GBI claimed that on June 25, 2024, an investigation was conducted on 25-year-old Bonnie Elizabeth Brown: “It is confirmed that Brown had S3xual contact with students when hiring a teacher.”
Brown taught in preschool at the time of arrest, according to the so-called victim lawyer Ashley Mitchell.
Mitchell said the alleged victim was a male under 16 at the time of the crime and said: “There is physical contact between the school and outside the school.”
The victims allegedly also made statements to people through Mitchell.
“I am relieved that these two women have been arrested and the crimes are being fully investigated,” the alleged victim said. “These women use their positions as my teacher. My school does not protect me as a child. I see now and I hope these arrests will protect our communities and our children.”
Both women were booked in the Green County Sheriff’s Office jail and two investigations are still ongoing, GBI said.
