One of the problems with the embattled Senator Natasha Akpoti-uduaghan is her beauty that people can hardly ignore, said the former minister of renowned Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe.
Speaking about Arise news on Monday, Ogunlewe pointed out that female senators do not think they are not male and often claim themselves in political discussions.
However, he suggested that Senator Natasha’s appearance set her apart to influence the man’s reaction to her.
“The female senators don’t look like men. They can even complete tasks. If you even mention Itadewa is a woman, the response you will get will shame you because they will stand up,” he said.
He added that specifically refers to Akpoti-uduaghan, “but the beauty of the outstanding Senator Natasha was a problem for her.
When asked “How could beauty be a question?”, Ogunlewe said
“You know, man-when you’re pretty passing people, your attitude changes. You can smile, you can blink, but you may not talk to her. But her beauty is a problem, no doubt.”
When further adhering to the beautiful question, Ogunlewe responded
“For a man, when she dies, a man will never look at that woman.”
He said men naturally noticed attractive women in order to defend their position
“It’s natural for men to look at beautiful women. How can you be a man, a beautiful woman is passing by, and you close your eyes?”
Despite the doubts about whether his views are disgusted, Ogunlewe insists that his observations are based on natural human tendencies.
“Probably, you might call it that, but it’s built-in,” he said.
