Bobrisky said the best decision he made for himself was to leave Nigeria.

Bobrisky moved from Nigeria in November 2024. In April 2024, he was sentenced to six months in prison for Naira’s abuse.
Despite initially being incarcerated at Kirikiri Prison, it was reported that he only stayed in prison for three weeks before carefully moving to an undisclosed private location.
The report escalated further in September when social critic Martins Otse (known as Very Wackerman) released a recording of the alleged recording involving Bobrisky discussing bribes by EFCC officials to impose money laundering charges against him. Bobrisky denied the allegation that the video was produced by AI.
Immigration officials thwarted his attempt to cross the SEME border. In November, he finally left the country.
