Security agents at Kano State University arrested a new bride, Saudi Arabia, allegedly her husband, Salisu san@bbing, nine days after the wedding.
The leadership report said the tragic incident occurred several days after the couple’s wedding on Sunday, April 27, 2025 in the Farava community.
It is said that the marriage was arranged by the couple’s relatives, but there is a lack of mutual affection between the two parties.
The deceased initially stated his reservation to the alliance, but he was reportedly convinced by his family to get married.
Although the situation surrounding the dispute that led to DE@th is unclear, community members claim that Saudi Arabia could poison her husband during the debate.
Tensions broke out in the community as angry young people tried to lynch the suspect, but quick intervention from safety operators prevented the mob action as the suspect was detained.
The Kano State Police Command has not officially responded to the incident.
