The family of murdered cash app founder Bob Lee sued his K!
Lee, 43, was stabbed by Nima Momeni near her home in San Francisco on April 4, 2023, and stabbed in the hospital a few hours later.
His family is suing Monny, as well as his mother, sister, brother-in-law and several property management companies, according to documents filed in the San Francisco Superior County Court.
The lawsuit alleges that Monny’s relatives tried to sell the car he picked up on the night of the murder and then deleted the information from his phone to hide the evidence.
It also accused the Port Homeowners Association and the Securitas Security Services of inappropriately distributing disturbing security videos, showing Lee’s last moments while bleeding on the streets, saying it had caused serious emotional distress to his two children.
Lee’s family is seeking unspecified damages because negligence, wrongdoing, helping to teach, conspiracy, intentionally cause emotional distress and privacy violations.
Lee, 43, is the founder of the popular currency transfer service cash app, was found near downtown San Francisco on early April 4, 2023. He was taken to the hospital but was injured.
Prosecutors argue that Nima Momeni intends to kill Lee for the use of her drug.
Monnie said that Lee attacked him with a knife, and he defended himself that Lee was Saint Bud.
San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said Momeni faces 16 years in prison.
