The Kano State Police Command has rejected a police officer Ado Abba because they are engaged in unauthorized residence operations and extortion of public ransom.
The headquarters spokesman SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa revealed this on Wednesday, January 30, 2025. He said that this dismissal was after receiving many complaints about the behavior of Ado ABBA officials.
After a thorough investigation, his culprit was confirmed, which led him to officially fired the police.
PPRO said: “We received several complaints about his behavior. After investigation, his guilt was determined.”
“He was officially fired, and he was no longer part of the police.
Kiyawa further announced that immediately confiscated ABBA uniforms.
He urged the public to continue to report any incidents of any improper behavior of the police, emphasizing the promise of the order to maintain an integrity and professionalism.
He promised: “When you see any illegal activities, please report, we will take a decisive action.”
Kiyawa praised other police members’ dedication in peace and order throughout Kano, and encouraged them to continue their duties honestly and diligently.
