
Abdulrahman Mohad Ballo, an Islamic clergyman in Ilorin, was arrested for allegedly being the last year student at the Kwara State Education College for allegedly being a member of the Kwara State College of Education.
The suspect reportedly seduced Yerunde after contacting her on Facebook and getting her phone number.
It is reported that the suspect is in a creepy k! lling then dismembered her body for suspected ritual purposes.
The Kwara State Police Command, who confirmed the incident, noted that the suspect had been arrested.
Yetunde, the last year student at the Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin, appeared in court for the last time on Monday, February 10, 2025, while attending the naming ceremony. She received a call from her friend, walked aside to answer, and left.
“We’ve been searching for her everywhere since then, but no one knows where she is,” one source said.
By Tuesday, February 11, her family reported her disappearance at the Oja-Oba police station in Ilorin. Police used her phone number to track her last call, which led them to a suspect living in the offa garage area in Ilorin.
The suspect was arrested but initially denied knowing her whereabouts.
However, while searching for his house, he admitted that she had visited him and had allegedly had an asthma attack.
After further investigation, police found a dismembered body of Snow Unde’s limb, hidden in a bowl, and equipment used for the bill.
Sources show that this may not be the first crime of the suspect, as police found suspicious tools in his room indicating patterns of possible killing.
The Kwara State Police Command confirmed the incident through its Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Adetoun Ejire-adeyemi, noting: “The Kwara State Police Department realized that a murder of a Miss Yerunde H. Lawal. In 2025, approximately In 1800 hours, her father, Mr. Ibrahim A. Lawal, reported a missing person in C-Class Oja-Oba.
“Immediately, the detectives headed toward the operation, tracked her number and arrested a suspect. The exhibition was discovered and the case had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation.
“As the investigation progresses, further updates will be communicated.”
Meanwhile, the Nigerian went to the Facebook account of the pastor who once shared religious information to summon him.
