Engineering Minister David Umahi praised the ongoing coastal highway project by President Bola Tinubu’s government.
The minister revealed that he had recently visited the Lagos-Calabal Coastal Highway project, which he said was so beautiful and was an inspiration to live a better life so as not to miss the beauty of heaven.
According to him, the roads were so beautiful that he looked forward to the streets of heaven.
He also promised that 30 kilometers of the 750-kilometer coastal expressway are available in 30 kilometers. President Tinubu Ball May 25.
“I’m there; I’m so excited, I said, if the streets of coastal highways could be so beautiful, how beautiful would the streets of heaven look? It made us do better, and made heaven better; it’s a beautiful place, Umahi said in an interview with Arise TV on Sunday.
When it comes to the quality of ongoing projects, UHI Explained that the height of the road is high enough to be higher than expected seawater flood levels.
He pointed out that the first part is 47.47 kilometers by six lanes, each with three lanes. He added that in the middle of the two lanes, there are train tracks with a width of 12m, along the bridge.
“This puts a lot of the recessed buildings in a very serious situation because our road level is at the level of the first deck. So we have been building fixed walls.” He said.
Umahi revealed that all six geopolitical regions will benefit from the heritage projects in Tinubu.
“The first part should be completed within 36 months of March 2024; we have completed it for about a year.
“By the 14th of this month, we will be promoting the building on the Calabar axis.”
“Six geopolitical zones are covered by four heritage projects of Mr. President.” He added.
Umahi said the Akwa Ibom flag will be carried out after one day and the project’s Ebonyi axis will be marked on April 16.
