
A man escaped lynching after being allegedly caught “snatching sand from his footprints.”
According to the Daily Trust, the incident occurred in the authorized real estate area during peak hours in the school.
The man simply took Bello’s name and was serious and was almost lynched by some residents, but due to timely intervention by some passers-by.
He was later escorted out of the community.
“My eyes grabbed him when he grabbed the sand because I was behind their mother and I was watching what he was doing. But he skillfully poured the sand into his pocket, which made me excited, And raised the alarm,” said witness Mr. Ola.
The mother of two expressed surprise when she spoke to the publication, forgot about the incident before the witness intervention.
She called on parents and wards to stay alert for their children.
