    The man knows fate on February 27 as allegedly burns his wife and her brother to D3ath in Lagos

    The Lagos State High Court sitting in Taffava Bareva Square (TBS) retained the verdict until February 27, 2025, with a 50-year-old man Benjamin Ogudoro He allegedly burned his wife and brother-in-law to D3ath.

    The Nigerian News Agency (NAN) reported that the sentence was not read on February 13, before Justice Sherifat Sonaike, for reasons that were not disclosed.

    After that, Sonaike was postponed until February 27.

    Ogundoro was arraigned by the Lagos state government on December 7, 2022 on four charges bordering M8rder.

    The prosecution accused of the defendant k! His wife Chinyere, who had just returned from Scotland, and her brother, Ifeanyi, the only son, burned them.

    Prosecutors said the incident occurred on April 1, 2022, at about 3.30 AM, in the Oteyi Garden Estate, District 5, Abule Ado in Amuwo Odofin District, Lagos.

    The state claims the defendant poured gasoline on his wife’s body, his brother, on the mattress and burned them while they fell asleep.

    According to the prosecution, the alleged crime violates Articles 223 and 341 of the 2015 Lagos State Criminal Code.
