Sibongile Dlamini, the wife of a murdered South African police officer, was arrested on suspicion of hiring a killer.
Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) official Constable Banele Sikhosana was fatally shot dead on February 7, 2025 when he opened his business at the break at Ekurhuleni Kwa-Thema. K! llers picked up his service pistol.
Later, authorities arrested a man named Nhlizitozabantu Magwanyana who admitted to executing K in the Kwa-Thema hotel!
Acting EMPD Police Chief Julius Mkhwanazi said the killer admitted to being paid by Sikhosana’s wife and the final payment was allegedly paid shortly after the M8rder.
Another suspect remains the entire suspect, but police report an arrest is about to happen.
Investigators further revealed that this was not the first attempt in Sikohazan’s life.
His wife allegedly tried to poison him a week before the M8rder.
Skosana recovered from suspected poisoning when he was shot to death with D3AD.
A memorial service was held at the home in Siko Hasana on Thursday, February 13.
His wife was detained on Friday afternoon, February 14, while preparing for a funeral arrangement for Saturday.
The arrested suspect is scheduled to appear in Springs Court on Monday.
Meanwhile, a photo posted by the suspect showed the deceased paid her bride price in December 2024.
