The People’s Democratic Party District 2027 Southern Presidential Voting

The 102nd National Executive Committee meeting of the People’s Democratic Party has decided to stake its 2027 presidential vote with the South, while retaining the existing National Working Committee partition for the November election conference.

Speaking to reporters after the NEC meeting in Abuja on Monday, PDP’s national propaganda minister Debo Ologunagba revealed that the decision came after the report of the zoning committee chaired by Bayelsa Governor Douye Diri.

He added that the NEC was also satisfied with the preparation level of the November conference.

“The NEC recommends that the North and South should retain their current NWC locations.

“The NEC also decided that the PDP 2027 presidential vote is hereby divided into the south as the party’s president is divided in the north.”
