Onanuga noted that two relatives of Ndume were recently appointed to the highest position of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited.
“Senator Ali Ndume’s latest outbreak on TV tells the so-called ‘lossed tivered appointment’ of Tinubu Reeks’ hypocrisy and selective ideas.”
“Although Senator Borno’s stands as a fair moral authority, he forgot to tell his interviewer that two of his relatives introduced his two relatives in the most recent appointment to NNPC Ltd.”

Onanuga stressed that President Tinubu’s appointment is guided by virtue, integrity and national balance.
“The president’s appointment is – and will continue to be based on merit, geographical spread and the ability to serve the Nigerian people, rather than Ndume’s Choice’s Choice’s Choice’s Tribal Arithmetic.”
The president’s aide advises Ndume to “elevate public discourse” and to block “misinformation and unfounded criticism.”
