Senator Samuel Anyanwu expressed his gratitude to the loyal party, his legal team, and everyone who supported his position in reclaiming his position as the People’s Democratic State Secretary (PDP).

Naija News The report said the Supreme Court announced on Friday, March 21 that Senator Anwu was Legal PDP State Secretarycausing legal disputes about the position.

In a ruling filed Friday, Appeal No.: SC/CV/2025: Senator Samuel Anyanwu v Aniagu Emmanuel, the Supreme Court overturned a previous Court of Appeal ruling that has recognized Anyanwu’s opponent, Udeh-Okoye, on Sunday, as a valid holder of the post.

As stated in the main judgment presented by Justice Tukur Yammaman, the judge of the Trial Court who initially removed Anyanwu, there is no right to hear the case, making its decision invalid.

The court also ruled that the plaintiff Aniagu Emmanuel, who initiated the lawsuit, had no legal right to litigate, stressing that he did not demonstrate how he was directly affected by Anyanwu’s time of office.

The ruling shows that Aniagu lacks the status of filing a lawsuit in the Enugu High Court, labeling him as a “busy man and a chaotic intruder.” The case was dismissed due to lack of jurisdiction.

After Friday’s court ruling, Anyanwu addressed the news reporter after the court ruling, deeming the crisis as a conflict between family members, has now rested.

“I continue to serve as the party’s state secretary here, and it is still to the time when the next committee arrives in December 2025,” He said.

Naija News Report says that after the former participated in the IMO state governor election
