A young woman allegedly poisoned her boyfriend to D3ATH for cheating her in the Iyo Polo community at the marine base in Port Harcourt on the River.
According to the gathering, after the dead, she hid the body under the bed in the room for three days.
According to local reports, the area became suspicious after residents of the area noticed the odor emitted from the victim’s residence.
The neighbors involved tried to contact the deceased but received no response.
Their suspicion is exacerbated when they observe the suspect acting strangely and refuses to enter the apartment.
After notifying the law enforcement, officers arrived at the scene and forced them into the room where they found the victim’s decayed body.
The suspect was immediately arrested and detained by police for further investigation.
Authorities have not issued a formal statement on the motive behind the so-called M8rder.
However, preliminary findings suggest that the incident may have arisen from a domestic dispute.
