The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Department has confirmed the D3ath of a young woman who had allegedly committed suicide at a construction site in a living camp.
Police sources said it had received a report from the Chief Security Officer of Citec Estate (CSO) that the woman’s body was found hanging from a container at the scene at about 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
After the report, the police detective was immediately dispatched to the scene. Photos of the body were taken, and there were no obvious signs of violence in the deceased.
The body was then transported to the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Jabi, where she was confirmed dead by the attending physician, said security analyst Zagazola Makama.
The body has been stored in Mortuary for autopsy.
The source said that despite the password protecting it, police also took back their phone from the woman’s pocket.
Authorities have launched an investigation to reveal what is happening around its D3ATH.
