Olabode George, a founding member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and former vice president of the country, called on former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike, Nyesom Wike, who was considered disadvantaged for his unity and imagery, to resign immediately.
George was frustrated by what he called the blatant fraternity between the duo and the Congress of Ruling All Progressives (APC) through strongly worded statements, noting that their actions continued to make PDP lapses.
Following the party’s closest post, George questioned the fundamentals of prominent figures such as Atiku, who remained consistent with the opposition while still sticking to PDP membership.
He asked:What exactly happened? Anyone who is tired of PDP should leave and join another party. Enough embarrassment. As the founding elder of this party, I wouldn’t watch some people publicly disrespect the party. it’s out of the question. ”
George specifically criticized Attiku’s recent visit to former president Muhammad Buhari In Kaduna, said:General Muhammadu Buhari (Retd) is still my boss, but he is not a member of our party. So, why is Atiku politically with him? Haven’t he committed anti-party crimes yet? ”
He also mentioned the president’s public statement Tinubu BallTinubu reportedly told Wike to ensure APC victory in the FCT Council elections.
George said:The other day, President Bola Tinubu told Wike that APC must win the FCT’s council election, and he agreed. ”
Continue, he condemned Vick’s answer: “Vick has been awarded the direct order to win the APC FCT, and he still claims to be a member of the PDP. Now, can’t people be politically shameless in principle? Where is the leadership of our party? Why do they tolerate atiku and Wike? Why did they allow the two to continue to be publicly embarrassing?transparent
George warned that the situation is intensifying, with some governors now reportedly supporting Tinob’s potential reelection bid. “Now, some governors are joining them to recognize Tinubu’s re-election in 2027. I asked again: What exactly happened to our party? Is the discipline gone? Has everything completely broken down? Is reason going on in the way we hold parties now? ”
He insists that PDP remains the only structured functional party in Nigeria, in contrast to his single-player domination in APC:Nigerians are eager for change, and only PDP can provide it, because our party is the only organized party. Besides Ganduje, who else do you know in APC NWC? APC is a single-player program controlled by villas. ”
George urges PDP leadership to act decisively: “This is the time for PDP country leaders to take the decisive steps to save our great political party. ”
He continued: “As a founding member of our party and an older politician, I call on the rest of our party to call Atiku and Vick to order because both are not greater than PDP. ”
George said he would not remain silent: “They can’t continue to work with our party’s enemies and think I’ll keep quiet. You must tell the truth every time without paying attention to whose cow. ”
He stressed the need to clean up the parties of internal sabotagers:Now is the time to avoid those parties that undermine PDP from within. ”
Regarding Atiku’s so-called future political plan, George declared:If Atiku is in 2027 for the strategy of how to build alliances with others, then he should do this outside the structure of our party. You cannot violate the interests of the party internally. We will never allow it. ”
In Vick, he said:Wick’s case is clear to everyone. He wants to be a great book for Tinubu while fighting our political parties. He is an adult and knows what is good for him, but you can’t claim to be a PDP, but it’s against the interests of the party. ”
He added:Many people don’t know what Wike does in the river of the March 18 emergency rules statement is anti-party activities.
“He organized live interviews on the TV station as if he was the president and attacked the PDP in the process. If he left any sense of shame, it was time for him to leave our party.
“His strategy is to continue working within the party to serve as president re-election.
“This is when our party leaders waving their big sticks, because no one is stronger than the party. ”
George concluded that once internal dissidents are deported, the PDP will be stronger: “As we eliminate party liabilities, we will be in a strong position as opposition parties to take over the federal level APC in 2027. ”
George in the state of the country
He turned to the national issue and criticized the security and economic countries of APC: “Nigerians are going through a lot due to APC’s anti-human policy and they are waiting for PDP to relieve the pain in 2027. ”
George is deeply concerned about insecurity: “Rebellion, rebellion, kidnapping, murder and corruption have taken over the land. As the Commander-in-Chief, what exactly is Tinubu doing to reverse this ugly trend?
“Does it make sense for the way people are killed in Benue and in the Plateau? The country is drifting, and this is the time for the former president and the leaders of public opinion to tell the truth about power. We can’t continue like this. ”
He also challenged bank executives their contribution to the country’s financial crisis, saying they should contribute to public welfare: “There are so-called round trips. There are also allegations of internal abuse, hidden and fraudulent. All of this is for Nigerians. You can’t see a banking MD for private jets like the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, the United Arab Emirates.
“Here, our bank MDs are not only renting private jets, but also owning jets. Where do they make money to maintain this luxury and lifestyle?
“The government must investigate this. Since Tinubu is trying to relieve the burden on Nigerians, these banks should be paid to 20 billion guilds in the Special Intervention Fund account.”
George urges President Tinob to refocus on national priorities: “Since he has returned to Nigeria, Tinub should also take the image of projecting the country seriously. ”
He concluded with criticism of abuse by federal authorities: “There are no rivers, lizards or cockroaches killed in the rivers, and you declare emergency rules, suspending the elected governor simply because you are the commander-in-chief.
“People don’t use that power. Nigeria is called the African giant, but economically, constitutionally and politically, do we belong to the “true meaning” giant?
“Nigeria spent billions of dollars to restore peace, security, democracy, economic and political independence to South Africa, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Gambia, Zimbabwe, and others.
“We have given others to others who have led to stability, we are not at home. Are we now the giants of Africa, not the reality?”
