A Bolt driver has revealed he married his wife when she was 14, sparking outrage online.

X User @Mfonabasiii shared the story, saying her morning drive took an unexpected turn when the 32-year-old driver opened up about his marriage. According to him, his wife is now 17 years old and has given birth to two children for him.

He also revealed that he was planning to marry a second wife, adding confidently, “From the way I see you, I know you’re modern and you’d say it’s child abuse, but it’s not.”

The post went viral, prompting widespread condemnation from Nigerians who called the act child abuse and a violation of the Child Rights Act.

In other news… A young woman is causing a stir online after Pastor Eno Jerry shared her reasons for quitting YouTube during a session of Hallelujah Challenge, a virtual praise and prayer program led by gospel artist Nathaniel Bassey.

The Hallelujah Challenge is widely recognized for its intense moments of worship and inspiring guest pastors, most recently featuring Pastor Eno Jerry, wife of renowned evangelist Pastor Jerry Eads.

In a TikTok clip posted by user @winneramanze, the woman shared a clip from Pastor Eno Jerry’s ministry and explained that she decided to leave the livestream once she began praying for women looking for husbands.

According to her, this particular prayer point made her feel uncomfortable as a feminist.

Her comments quickly drew mixed reactions on social media, with some criticizing her stance and others emphasizing the spiritual meaning and purpose of each prayer point in the Hallelujah challenge.

    She captioned it…

“The way I open YouTube, so I get comot from YouTube…let me go sleep with my dad and beg.”

She added: “This part of the prayer was not for me…as a staunch feminist…in order to continue to keep my heart right, I just left it to do my own personal prayer.”
