In other news…Nigerian businessman and politician Ned Nwoko sparked online debate after casually asking a young woman her age during a recent public outing.
Nwoko paid a goodwill visit at a popular social lounge in Abuja. The moment drew even more attention because he was reportedly dealing with marital issues with his sixth wife, Regina Daniels.
While socializing with guests, Ned approached a young woman and jokingly asked: “How old are you? Tell me honestly.”
The amusing question amused those around him and sparked mixed reactions after the video surfaced online.
Nwoko also made it clear that he does not intend to discuss his marriage and said he intends to focus on other topics.
“Today, I’m going to talk about a lot of things, not just Ned and Regina,” he said.
In the speech, he touched on different aspects of his personal and professional life, from his experiences in the British legal system to his travels as far away as Antarctica.
He also highlighted various projects in Delta North, including youth-focused initiatives, a proposed sports university program and ongoing work on safety and social welfare legislation.
Ned concluded by inviting club members and the public to visit his community during the holidays:
“To all Kai hikers, my hometown is open this Christmas. Come enjoy our culture and the warmth of our people!”
