Teyana Taylor’s legal team has filed a petition against her ex-husband Iman Shumpert, claiming he deliberately leaked sealed documents about the divorce media.
According to documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Teyana claims she has been dragged on social media, which is a misleading report about who gets in divorce.
Taylor insisted that it was not a “reconciliation” at all, as the parties received only court-granted things, including vehicles and tour buses, which she said she paid for herself.
She also claimed that the Maybach she bought was completely damaged and never replaced it after Iman knocked over Rolls Royce.
As for other reports there, Teyana said she was awarded four properties and Eman received three awards, including the Miami apartment she originally gave to her.
On Oscar Night 2025, Teyana posted a photo with actor Aaron Pierre, she said that in less than a day, the photo generated 1.4 million views and over 40k comments, but a few days later she said a huge story about what she called a “fake divorce settlement” popped up in the media.
Teyana believes the timing is unfortunate because she said she recently announced in collaboration with Nike, the show and the second Air Jordan in Paris that it was an amazing competition, all of which were high heels shooting 3 movies and TV shows.
She also believes that the timing of the news coincides with Iman’s newly released rap song, which means Iman is using their divorce drama to help promote his new project.
Teyana noted that she has been under public scrutiny and hate speech on social media, and that Iman likes to be a popular topic under his name.
Now, she hopes the judge despises the court for leaking information and asks the judge to lock him up for 20 days and hit him with the highest fine to teach him a lesson.
