Ogun State Police Command arrested Akintobi (male, 36) on a Sunday through its SWAT department on April 22, a resident of the Itoku area of Abeokuta, suspected of conducting transactions on human parts.
Police investigation led to the arrest of two other people identified as Oladimeji Olaniran (male, 40) and Isaiah Tijani (male, 38).
The search for his residence resulted in the recovery of body parts believed to be human remains, the command spokesman CSP Omolola Odutola said.

Odutola mentioned that Police Commissioner CP Lanre Ogunlowo directed the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) to conduct a cautious investigation into the case to establish the full participation of the suspect in this outrageous crime.
