
At least three teachers and six students were seriously injured in a loneliness accident in the Akala Expressway area of Ibadan, Oyo State.
The accident occurred in the early morning of Friday, February 28, 2025, when a vehicle transported students from the Muslim area of Summit School, Akeyo, Ibadan, to explore, suffered a brake failure, fell and turned to the other side of the road.
According to one of the students, the school owner was also in the car when the crash occurred.
According to the Nenigerian Tribune, more than 20 students are joining to visit the train station in Omi, Ibadan.
Emergency responders, including agents from the Nigerian Police Force and Oyo State Road Traffic Authority (OYRTMA), arrived at the scene and the injured victim was taken to the hospital for medical care.
Other students were also taken to the Kura Division headquarters of the Nigerian Police in Ibada.
