Former Senator Representative Shehu Sani of Central Kaduna said former Kaduna Governor Nasir El-Rufai was responsible for all the progressive Congress (APC) that failed in the 2023 presidential election.
Naija News Sani reportedly knew this when she spoke on a show on TV on the channel on Friday, Hard Coper.
The former MP asserted that El-Rufai was dissatisfied and distressed by criticism.President F Bola Tinubu’Government and APC.
According to him, the former governor failed to provide Kaduna to Tinubu despite claims that prompted Tinubu to become president.
Sani further criticized El-Rufia for his failure to reconcile various factions within the state’s APC.
He said “From my understanding, the former governor of Kaduna State felt dissatisfied and painful, which is part of the crisis of right and expectation.
“But when I posted it on the X page, Nasiru was governor for eight years and was unable to ship Kaduna to Tinubu. The result was there.
“The numbers say if Nasiru claims he delivers for Tinubu. Under his leadership, APC lost to PDP for the first time. Among the 14 House seats, PDP won 9, Labor Two and APC titles.
“He also claimed to bring UBA SANI to the office, but let’s check the numbers – Isa Ashiru of PDP got 719,000 votes, UBA SANI 730,000, just 11,000 poor. Kaduna did not vote for UBA because of Nasiru. In fact, Uba lost the vote because of him.
“This is someone who is running for the UBA and is publicly ridiculed him on the other hand.
“Does he believe in reconciliation? When Kaduna’s APC crisis lasted for seven years, the party sent Aminu Masari, Segun Oni, Inua Abdulquadri and John Oyegun to mediate – he turned down everything.
“His refusal to reconcile with Kaduna’s APC troops caused significant losses. If he really believed in reconciliation, why didn’t he practice in his own state?”
