In his post 𝕏 On Wednesday, Atiku’s aide noted that the letter affirmed the efforts of Wike and his accomplices to the PDP, stressing that posing a crisis was a deliberate conspiracy.

Ibe also said Vick was involved in anti-party activities and was using a willing tool President Tinubmanagement.

He wrote:Vick no longer has news to participate in anti-party activities. He is a willing tool used by Tinubu’s APC government to destroy @officialpdpnig and other opposition parties.

“The letter from PDP to @inecnigeria confirms that Wike and his accomplices’ actions against the party’s South-South Regional Assembly violated the PDP’s position.

“It was intentional to create a crisis to achieve the interests of his salary master.”

In a letter dated February 20, 2025, and a letter to the INEC Chairman, PDP stated that the scheduled regional conference was postponed due to operational restrictions.

The letter was signed by PDP Acting Chairman Umar Damagum and Secretary Ude-Okoye on Sunday noted that a new date and location would be announced and appropriate notification would be given.

Despite the letter, Vick and his camp also continued with the South-South Regional Conference, attended by Mr. Donald Duke, former Governor of Cross River State.

During the Congress, Chief Dan Orbih, Vice Chairman of the PDP South-South Region, was re-elected.
