Speaker Mudashiru Obasa of the Lagos State Capitol held a meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday, March 12 at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Obasa and lawmakers arrived at the villa by bus on two roller coasters around 3pm, and the meeting is believed to be related to the leadership crisis in the Lagos Parliament, who saw Mojisola Meranda resign as speaker.
Meranda was elected after most legislators impeached each obasa on January 13, 2025. However, Obasa (APC) resumed on March 3, 2025, following intervention from the Management Advisory Committee (GAC) (GAC) and the adjudication of key stakeholders of all Progressive Conferences (APC).
