The nomination follows a cabinet reshuffle that saw former Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Minister Professor Netawe Goshwe Yilwatda become the ruling party’s national chairman.
Dr Doro was born on January 23, 1969 in Kwall, Bassa LGA, Plateau State and has over 20 years of experience in healthcare, medicines management, management and community development in Nigeria and the UK.
He holds degrees in pharmacy and law, a master’s degree in advanced clinical practice and an MBA in IT-based business strategy. Doro also works as an independent prescriber and senior clinician with NHS experience.
If confirmed, he will join the Federal Executive Council to contribute to health care, innovation and social development policy, consistent with Tinubu’s focus on professional competence in governance.
