Labour and Productivity Minister Nkeiruka Onyejeocha described all allegations of election fraud as false.
House Rep. Amobi Ogah (LP-Abia) earlier urged the Independent National Election Commission (INEC) to conduct alleged falsification of the 2023 election results, investigate and prosecute Onyejeocha.
Ogah represents the Isikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency of Abia in the House of Representatives, and they appeal in a petition submitted to Abuja INEC headquarters.
The petition titled: “Reply: Forged, uttered and tendered voting unit results tables were caused by the 2023 election, in the case of isikwuato/umunneochi federal federal (Nkeiruka chiduubem onyeejeocha).
In the petition, Ogah is the chairman of the House Committee on AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, claiming that Onyejeocha falsified election results in the 2023 National Assembly elections to improve the results of the polls.
Ogah said he and Onyejeocha were participants in the Isuikwuato/Umunnecochi federal constituency seat during the 2023 election.
