Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, warned Senate President Mrs. Unoma Akpabio not to participate in her ongoing allegations of sexual harassment and intimidation against Akpabio.
On Friday, February 28, Senator Natasha made some abominable charges against Akpabio. Speaking on Arise TV, she claimed that Akpabio always frustrated her because she refused to succumb to his S#Xual progress.
Reaction, Mrs. Akpabio held a press conference in Abuja, dismissing the allegations were unfounded and said her husband was disciplined and responsible. She has since filed a lawsuit against Senator Natasha.
Responding to the lawsuit through a letter dated March 1, 2025 to Mrs. Akpabio through his attorney, Victor Giwa, Senator Akpabio, and Senator Akputi-Udoagen urged Mrs. Akpabio to stay away from the matter.
The letter, titled “Farewell to the sexual harassment and intimidation allegations of Sen. Natasha Akpoti-uduaghan against Sen. Godswill Akpabio; to safeguard your sanity and family sanity,” the allegations have alleged the Senate President, who should stay and defend himself.
This letter reads partly
“Our client does not want to bring you into the unfortunate legend of her allegations against the Senate President and want you to limit yourself to research the obscene environment. Although she tolerate all harassment by the Senate President, she is confined to the hands of the Senate President to reveal the unfortunate torture and victimization she experienced in the Red Room.”
The Senator further asserted that she had concrete evidence to confirm her claims and urged Mrs. Akpabio to allow her husband to resolve the allegations independently.
“Our client has concrete evidence to confirm her allegations. We recommend that you defend the Senate President’s allegations that you maintain your sanity and family.”
