Is it to publish a blocked allocation to Rivers Administrator? fagbemi

Federal Attorney General (AGF) Lateef Fagbemi said the federal government will take action to allocate monthly to the sole sole executive officer who was sworn in for the newly sworn in Rivers State, Deputy Admiral IBOK-IBOK-ETE IBAS (RTD).

Fagbemi spoke with correspondents in the state legislature today on March 19 today and believed that the state’s distribution was initially seized due to special circumstances in oil-rich states.

“There is an extraordinary situation in Rivers State where when the administrator comes he might ask for these funds, and for me it would be to free the fund because the special circumstances have lifted them out of the normal situation.”

In a judgment made on February 28, 2025, the Supreme Court banned the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the Federal Accounting General and other institutions from releasing funds to the then Siriminali Fobala government until the apparent contradiction to the court order was announced to the court order.

President Bola Tinubu imposed a state of emergency in Rivers State on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, suspended Fubara and his deputy Ngozi Odu. and Rivers State Assembly members.

Tinubu’s decision on Article 305 of the 1999 Constitution was dependent on his decision, saying he could not continue to pay attention to the escalation of the political situation in Rivers without taking any action.
