- Toke Makinwa welcomed her first child, Yakira Eliana, at the age of 40, when she encouraged unmarried women and children to reject social pressure and believe in God’s timing.
- Reflecting on criticism and private pregnancy, she said, true achievement is not defined by marriage or motherhood, but by God’s perfect plan.

Nigerian Media Personality Toke Makinwa shared a message with unmarried women and women who have not yet had children.
The former OAP recently welcomed her first child, Yakira Eliana, at 40, said society often ignores women’s achievements and uses marriage or motherhood as real measures to achieve.
Reflecting on the troll she received, Toke revealed that she remained private during her pregnancy, but was still strong and trusted in God’s timing.
She encourages women to ignore negative emotions, trust God and celebrate themselves, and points out that the time was right and true joy came.
“I’m not even a person who admits negative. Over the years, I’ve built a strong brand of stones that have been throwing at me at me for years, about God, He loves you very judged people. I’m just sharing this for those who compete, delay, shame, shame and all cr-zy restrictions.
It’s interesting that no matter your career as a woman, society still honors what hasn’t happened to you. Marriage has become some sort of code to achieve, if you don’t have children, um, um! He sighed very much.
Thank you, Jesus, this is a praising. You’re not too late. You just wish my heart posture was correct and I thank you for giving my female community this season.
I know some ladies feel that their time has run out. Society wants you to believe that you have expired and may even start believing it, but you are wrong.
I’m grateful that I didn’t settle down, I’m grateful that I’m going to be a mom when I’m ready, I’m grateful that I turned down all these tags, and I’m grateful that this is not happening when I want it, but when God’s time is right. This is perfect!
Don’t underestimate the power of negativeness. I escaped my entire pregnancy and became so scared that I turned everyone out. Then the word comes: “Perfect love drowns fear.” God is love, He gives good gifts, which is perfect. I prayed until my heart believed.
These words hurt, but my spirit was not broken. They only reminded God about me, not that he forgot, but that he challenged him to smash the ceiling with this testimony. So this is my advice to you,
Keep going, drown the noise, focus on the vine, let him do the heavy moves, celebrate yourself at each stage, you are becoming more and more, everything will come. Sometimes it gets tough, but the victory is worth it. Congratulations in advance to anyone waiting, don’t have to be a child, no matter what you are waiting for, right here. ”
