Nollywood star, Tonto Dikeh took to social media on Sunday, November 9, to share a touching throwback video from a wedding she attended a year ago where she led a prayer meeting.
The actress, who recently made headlines for publicly dedicating her life to Jesus Christ, reflected on the growth in her spiritual journey over the past year.
In the post, the mother of two expressed how the Holy Spirit has increasingly impacted her life. She fondly recalled the honor of leading friends in prayer at the event and described feeling the presence of God deeply while praying.
“His presence was overwhelming, so real. I could hear his voice, I could feel him, and in that moment, I completely surrendered. Even when the formal prayers ended, I couldn’t stop; something inside me refused to leave that sacred atmosphere,” she said.
“My tongue has evolved, my prayer time has increased, and my spirit has developed a new dimension with God. I even find myself in what I now call a prayer of tears—moments where I just cry before Him. Not out of pain or supplication, but out of awe of His beauty and the overwhelming love I finally find in my heart. Now I am a prayer closet; I don’t just pray, I roar,” Tonto added.
