According to new reports, the club’s owners have decided on the future of Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham before the 2025/2026 season.
New reports suggest Tottenham Hotspur has decided on the future decisions of current manager Ange Postecoglou, the club’s current manager, before the new season.
The tenure of Tottenham Hotspur manager Angel Postecoglou seems to be shaking as the final five games of the season get closer. The Spurs ranked 16th in the Premier League after losing to Nottingham Forest 2-1, exacerbating scrutiny of Australian coaches.
The defeat marked Tottenham’s 18th League defeat this season, leaving them beating them only with the worst game ever. Despite their struggles, the Spurs continued their Europa League campaign, while Postecoglou was still in charge and played a crucial semi-final against Bodo/Glimt on May 1.
But behind the scenes, key figures within the club are already weighing future choices. Chairman Daniel Levy is preparing for a critical summer transfer window, and under postecoglou, the team’s continued inconsistency has attracted attention.
Although Postecoglou still defends his philosophy, his future remains uncertain. His close allies Chief Football Officer Scott Munn will report to leave in the summer, complicating his position at the club.
Revealing possible alternatives to Ange Postecoglou
According to the British Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur is already exploring alternative management candidates in case the candidate after the will is rejected. Fulham’s Marco Silva was identified as a potential successor, while Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola is also admired, although he is expected to stay in the current club.
Additionally, technical director Johan Lange reportedly is interested in Brentford’s Thomas Frank, suggesting that the Spurs may be looking for a new way to revive the team.
Despite Postecoglou’s unwavering commitment to his vision, Tottenham’s growing belief is that major changes are coming and management restructuring seems increasingly likely.
