
After a submarine sank on the Egyptian coast with 44 tourists, there were at least six!
At the time of sinking, the tourist submarine in Sindbad had carried 44 international passengers, including children, near the dock at the Sindbad Club Hotel.
Rescue services have managed to save 29 people so far, a statement issued by the Red Sea Province said.

Passengers have been traveling at sea, seeing Egypt’s coral reefs and tropical fish in front of the boat, able to dive into the depths of 72 feet and sink.
The submarine has been operating tourism travel in Hurghada for several years.
According to operator Sharm Hurghada’s tour, the underwater tour lasts 3 hours, with £68 per adult ticket and £35 for children.
The company boasts that its trip allows visitors to admire the underwater life of Hurghada and the extensive coral reefs, enjoy a diving experience while keeping it dry, and see underwater life at 72 feet deep.
It also claims it owns two of the world’s only 14 real entertainment submarines.
The Sindbad Submarine’s website continues: “It offers 44 passenger seats – two pilot seats and a considerable circular viewing window for each passenger.”
