There are calls for US President Donald Trump to be improvised each for his “unconstitutional” bombing of Iran’s top nuclear facilities.
“The disastrous decision of the president to blow up Iran without authorization is a serious violation of the constitution and the power of Congress war,” Ms Ocasio-Cortez said.
“He was impulsively risking a war, and maybe generations have attracted us. That’s definitely the reason for impetuous each.”
Earlier Sunday, Trump announced that he had ordered a strike targeting Iran’s Fudo, Natanz and Esfahan nuclear websites.
Mr Trump said the U.S. plane successfully left Iranian airspace and “returned home safely.”
Mr. Trump is opposed to the strike, but so far only Democrats have spoken out, although some of them admit they lack votes.
Republican Thomas Massie, who has split with Mr. Trump in the past, simply declared: “This is not constitutional.”
