The president described the discussion of the Russian-Ukrainian war as “very good and productive discussion.”
Trump confirmed in a post about the Truth Society that they agreed to “stop all energy and infrastructure immediately.”
The leaders also proposed an understanding to quickly work towards a full ceasefire to end “this very terrible war.”
“If I were president, this war would never begin!” Trump added.
“There are discussions on many elements of a peace contract, including the fact that thousands of soldiers were killed, and both President Putin and Zelensky wanted to see this fact.
“This process is now full of power and effect, and hopefully for humanity, we will get the job done!” the president wrote.
