The IMO State Police Command has confirmed that two yet-to-be-identified actors died after eating rice and drinking on Friday, April 18. Four actors were taken to the Federal University Teaching Hospital OWERRI on Friday night, during which two actors were declared De@D upon arrival. Two dead and others were offered wine during the family gathering by the film director, who asked not to be named, after filming, eating rice and drinking.

Leadership reports said the director of the film, which serves meals and drinks, went to bed early, leaving four actors and three ladies to party. But he woke up in the early hours of Friday to turn off the generator and return to public power, finding two dead, and the other two gasped for the rest of their lives.
Caricia said two other male survivors are rushing to the federal teaching hospital for treatment.
According to him, one of the survivors told him: “Their owner (the director of the film) gave them rice and everyone to eat. Later he gave them a bottle of calypso and wine. However, they only took a sip and never drank again. However, the two people who are now dead now have their drinks.”
The film director and three girls in the apartment were arrested and answered questions while the investigation continued.
