    Two family members were held in Lagos after the former sent person committed suicide, the other in Lagos

    A retired policeman, Charles Atideka, allegedly two family members in the Yovoyan community in the Badagos area of ​​Lagos State, including two of his family members, have committed suicide.

    The LIB report said events related to the long-standing land dispute occurred around 2 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.

    The victims of Richard Atideka and Richard Atideka and Latevi Atideka from the Yovoyan community are allegedly from Muji Onilude in the neighboring Gberefu community.

    Lagos State Police spokesman Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the development’s development on Wednesday that the perpetrator continued suicide after allegedly committing the act.

    It is said that the former officer was allegedly taken with a toxic substance, unconscious, and was later taken to the hospital, where he was confirmed to be D3AD.

    “The person of the suspect in the incident died. He allegedly killed three people after committing the act and poisoned them. He has since been taken to the hospital where doctors confirmed that he was D3AD. His body and the body he was killed have been deposited into the morgue.”

    The PPRO added that the case has been transferred to the state criminal investigation department for further investigation.
