    Two k! lled, others were injured, many were displaced

    At least two people are K!

    The incident began on May 11, 2025, when Karim Lamido’s police received a distress report saying 34-year-old Buhari Malam had the hands of suspected Fulani herders on his farm.

    The victim was taken to Bandawa (PHCC) but was later sent while under treatment.

    According to security sources who spoke with Zagazola Makama, k! lling revenge on the aggrieved young men in Bandawa, they killed five cows and injured seven more.

    On May 12, another farmer, Ishaku Tunde, attacked at his farm around 10:10 a.m.

    The victim suffered multiple machete wounds and is currently undergoing treatment in PHCC.

    Similarly, at around 12:30 pm the same day, a Dauda Bawa was attacked while traveling from Bandawa to Karim Lamido.

    Sources added that he was confirmed to D3AD when he arrived at PHCC. ” the source added.

    He further revealed that Ardo Baka, a Fulani community leader, reported to the radio that six of their herders had not returned to their hometowns since the violence broke out.

    Security agents composed of military, police, alert and hunters have been deployed to the area, while a peace conference with community stakeholders is underway.

    Security sources assured: “Intensive patrols and surveillance have been strengthened. The situation is under control.”

    At the same time, ugly development has led to the displacement of many people who are now refuge in Hao Town.

    Karim Lamido, President of the Council of Local Government, Hon. Bitrus Danjos visited them at the IDP camp on Monday and reiterated the government’s preparations for protecting lives and property.
