Two staff members of Damboa Local Education Bureau (LEA) were kidnapped in a bomb explosion in Borno State!
Monday, May 12, 2025, follow the Damboa -Maiduguri Highway.
Sources told security analyst Zagazola Makama that when the incident occurred, the victims were considered to be the victims of Luka and Gideon Bitterleaf, who were traveling from Damboa to Maiduguri.
According to witnesses, the deceased sat in front of a Toyota sanitary truck and transported mangoes when the vehicle hit an improvised explosive device suspected of being planted by insurgents.
The explosion claimed that both were immediately alive and almost no one else was injured.
A source within the Damboa local government confirmed the identity of the victims, calling them hardworking and hardworking education officials.
Security agents have since blocked the area and investigated to identify the persons responsible for the attack.
