Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Davido Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has hit back at a fan who suggested formalizing the structure of his fan base.
According to Naija News, a fan suggested on 𝕏 that Davido’s followers should have a more organized system, including coordinating the main account with someone on his team for better management.
Davido, however, reacted strongly to the suggestion, responding: “You’re crazy,” adding, “We stacked millions of dollars…and you talk about group chats. FEM.”
In a related story, Davido’s baby mama Sofia Momodu responded to rumors that she stopped her daughter Imad from attending the celebrations with Davido and his family.
GistLover reported that the Adelaix couple held a family wedding in the United States over the weekend. Davido’s second daughter Hailey attended the meeting but Imad did not, sparking speculation online. Some social media users accused Sofia of limiting Imad’s interactions with her father’s family.
Sofia responded via Instagram on Wednesday, saying she woke up to a series of attacks against her and her daughter after the wedding. She stresses that Imade is a happy and healthy child, and anyone who has met her can confirm this.
Sofia added that she has been Imad’s primary caregiver for the past five years and is responsible for paying all of her expenses except for her school fees, which her grandparents have been paying for the past three years. She also revealed that Davido did not provide child support, but his daughter’s needs were fully met.
She assured fans that she always encouraged a good relationship between Imad and her father and never refused his contact. Sofia noted that she prioritizes Imad’s safety and ensures that any meetings with Davido are well organized.
