    U.S. President Trump suspends Madame Tari in Mexico

    U.S. President Donald Trump temporarily suspended tariffs on Mexico until April 2.

    Naija News The report said the decision was proposed after his dialogue with the Mexican president. Claudia Sheinbaum.

    Trump stressed that Mexico will not impose any products included in the United States-Mexico Agreement (USMCA).

    He also noted that his rapport with Sheinbaum was quite constructive, highlighting their cooperative efforts to curb illegal immigrants into the United States.

    “After speaking with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, I agree that Mexico will not need to pay tariffs on anything that the USMCA Agreement belongs to that which belongs to any USMCA Agreement.

    “The agreement has been in place until April 2. I did this for accommodation and was out of respect for President Sinbaum’s respect. Our relationship has always been a good relationship and we are working hard at the border, both to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the United States and, likewise, to prevent trafficking of fentanyl.

    “Thanks to President Sheinbaum for his hard work and cooperation,” Trump posted truth social.

    In a 5-4 ruling, the Justice upheld the lower court’s ruling, which required the government to perform payments for completing the contract.

    This marks the first major court ruling on the legal challenges involved since Trump returned to office.

    The judge said federal judges who ordered continued contracts with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the State Department “should clarify the obligations that the government must fulfill.”

    Chief Justice John Roberts and Trump-appointed Judge Amy Coney Barrett and three liberal judges in the court expressed support, forming a majority opinion.

    Justice Samuel Alito strongly opposed the ruling, with three other conservative judges joining.
