    The University of Exeter Scholarships 2023-2024 are partially funded scholarships for international students. These scholarships offer the recipients a range of full, £10,000 and £5,000 tuition fee scholarships.

    The Global Excellence Scholarship was established to support students who wish to develop their academic potential and contribute to a thriving University community of students and staff from more than 170 countries.

    The Global Excellence Scholarship recognizes high academic achievement and helps academics access our excellence in teaching and learning, while taking advantage of all that university life has to offer to support their ambitions for the future.

    Scholarship Scope

    The University of Exeter Undergraduate Scholarships offer a range of full, £10,000 and £5,000 tuition fee scholarships to the recipients.

    Eligibility Criteria for University of Exeter Undergraduate Scholarships

    To be eligible for the University of Exeter Undergraduate Scholarships, candidates must meet all of the following requirements:

    • Required language: English
    • Eligible countries: All countries in the world.
    • Classified as an international student for fee purposes (including any EU student required to pay international fees);
    • Hold an eligible undergraduate or master’s degree offer from the University of Exeter starting in September 2023.

    Scholarship recipients are selected based on:

    • Academic performance, based on the information you provide on your course application. Applicants will need to demonstrate that they have obtained, or are able to obtain, a degree equivalent to a UK second class degree. Please see our entry requirements page for further guidance.
    • During the application process you will be able to demonstrate the following: academic ambition; future career ambitions; genuine need for the scholarship and how this will support your ambitions; social responsibility and a desire to engage with the Exeter community.

    How to apply for University of Exeter undergraduate scholarships?

    Please follow the application instructions below to apply for the University of Exeter Undergraduate Scholarships:

    (1) Once you have received your admission letter, please apply using the online form here.

    (2) The form requires a personal statement (no more than 300 words) answering the following questions:

    • What are you interested in your chosen study program and what do you hope to learn?
    • What are your future aspirations? How will your studies help you achieve these ambitions?
    • What does it mean to you to be awarded the Global Excellence Fellowship – and what impact will it have?
    • As a Global Excellence Scholar, how will you serve as an ambassador for the university?
