University of Minnesota Scholarships 2023-2024 are fully funded scholarships for international students. This scholarship is offered for Masters studies. The scholarship provides full tuition, living expenses, travel and health insurance.
The Sawiris Foundation for Social Development is pleased to launch the fourth round of the fully funded Yousriya Loza-Sawiris Scholarship Program for applicants seeking an MDP degree from the Hubert Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota, USA.
Through this program, candidates are provided through multidisciplinary courses with the necessary skills and knowledge to enable them to address the challenges of sustainable development, including the spread of poverty and population growth, food insecurity and climate change, and the management of non-profit projects and programs.

University of Minnesota Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for a University of Minnesota scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Required language: English
- Eligible Countries/Regions: All countries in the world
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a reputable academic institution in a relevant field of study.
- Meet the admission requirements for the Academic MDP program.
- Demonstrate an excellent professional and academic record.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills (extracurricular activities/community work/entrepreneurial initiatives).
- Demonstrated inability to fund research with own resources.
- While no specific experience or academic track is required, students with a strong liberal arts education and strong quantitative and analytical skills will be best prepared for academic success at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
- Prior completion of courses in mathematics, statistics, and economics is recommended.
- English language proficiency required. Valid TOEFL or IELTS score, TOEFL score of at least 600 (paper-based test), 250 points (computer-based test), 100 points (online test, at least 22 points in each section) or IELTS score of 7.
- Valid Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores required. There are no specific score requirements.
- HR letter from current employer including wages/pay stubs or bank statements from when you lost your job.
- Two letters of recommendation.
- Copy of valid passport ID page.
- Updated resume.
- All undergraduate and graduate (if applicable) transcripts.
- A personal photo.
