The announcement by agency registrar Victor Modebelu announced this on Friday.
Modebelu said the acting vice-chancellor has received a report from the Student Discipline Committee on the attacks on students by the Department of Theatre and Film Studies.
According to the statement, chimera was found to have committed serious misconduct and violations of student discipline regulations, especially Regulations 4.
“AG. Therefore, the Vice President, on behalf of the University Senate, approved the committee’s recommendation that you are deported and here you are deported from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka,” the statement added.
