    • A total of 14 passengers from Benue Link transport companies were reportedly kidnapped.

On April 4, about 1,500 hours, they saw bandits in the forest and had a gun showdown with them. The police’s high firepower made them surrender, and they followed them and gave up the captives.

Unfortunately, they made match cuts to the two victims before the rescue. 14 victims were rescued and taken to hospital, one of whom was confirmed dead and the others are currently undergoing treatment,” she said.

PPRO also asked residents to report any person with gunshot wounds as some kidnappers escaped multiple shot injuries.
